Archanet Technologies is proud to announce “Port Scanner“. Port Scanner is a small application designed for the Android Mobile operating system. Port Scanner gives the user the ability to check up to 20 TCP ports at a single time via a range 70-90 or check comma separated ports, ie. 21,23,53,80. We have made a list of pre-defined ports that you can check, which makes it simple for the user. Once your report is generated, you have the ability to export your report to your sdcard.
The application is simple to use and is very user friendly. We are happy to announce, no bugs have been reported for this application. It was developed with the emulator but tested on the real phone. Many applications are buggy because they have not been tested on the real thing. I created this application because I need it for my servers. I use it both on wifi and 3g. Wifi primarily because I am in a wifi area most of the day. The user will notice a difference between 3g and wifi, just because of speed.
